The global obejctive here is to make it work. The process is certainly not intended for rocket scientists, it's a simple step by step process of completion until the relevant data has been gathered and compiled into a plan that is tailored to its intended target market audience.

Three phases are implemented to ensure a lifecycle has been performed to ensure feasibility of functional system or process.

An effective usability testing process:

Analysis Phase

  • Identifying the business model, environments and the end-users or target market audience
  • Competition and effect on the business and its vision process
  • Understanding the processes, the varying business and inter-departmental models, cultures, roles, habits, individual work flows, schedules, technology and rosters, affiliates and more.
  • Label Information and its flow to the various systems or processes
  • Deeper understanding of the user base is required, surveys, forums, personas and other techniques are usually implemented.
Design phase
  • Organize functionally in information architecture
  • Create the appropriate navigation tools
  • Develop user tools based on behaviors
  • Develop concepts and test the acceptance and measure its performance
  • reinforce the information architecture with results based decisions
  • Develop Prototypes and build a community of beta users
Verification phase
  • Validate the value of the project and its functional role
  • Validate the value of the measured results achieved
  • Validate the value against benchmarking
  • Validate the value against the competition
